D-Star ONE Phoenix satellite launch

German Orbital Systems GmbH and iSky Technology s.r.o. (iSky) are happy to inform you about the successful launch of the `D-Star ONE Phoenix` satellite as a part of the ECM Space Technologies GmbH (ECM) smallsat cluster of 9 satellites on the 1st of February, 2018. ECM Smallsat cluster was launched from the Vostochny launch site (Russian, Amur Oblast, Tsiolkovsky city) as a part of Russian Space State Corporation Roscosmos (Roscosmos) Earth observation mission Kanopus-V #3,4 (video).

The D-Star ONE Phoenix have been separated on the target 585 km sun-synchronous orbit. Currently our teams are testing the satellite systems and the ground stations.

When the flight tests are completed, we will give an access to radio amateurs from all over the world to upload voice messages of the D-Star format to our satellites!
