D-Star ONE launch on Soyuz failed

We are sorry to announce that on November 28, 2017 the launch of the Roscosmos Federal State Corporation meteorological satellite Meteor-M ?2-1 with a cluster of 18 small satellites failed.
The Soyuz-2/Fregat launch system has failed to inject the Meteor-M ?2-1 SC with a cluster of smallsats, including D-Star ONE, into the target orbit. German Orbital Systems GmbH (GOS) and iSky Technology s.r.o. (iSky) are in contact with the ECM Launch Services discussing ways to minimize the impact of the incident on the business of both companies.
It is a difficult time for the GOS and iSky, but we know that launch failures are part of the space business. Therefore, we will continue the D-Star program. Today we begin the work on the D-Star TWO project based on the flight-spare of D-Star ONE. The launch is scheduled for the second half of 2018.
